Mallory goes the distance with Endurance race
The Hottrax Motorsport Racing club will be taking to Mallory Park on Sunday 14th September for round six of the British Endurance series.
Endurance racing requires a team effort, stamina and a very well prepared machine which can go the distance. It provides interesting racing with a dramatic Le Mans start which sees the riders running across the track to jump on their bikes and take off – action packed just about sums it up.
Three classes of endurance racing will run at Mallory Park, the HMRC Junior TAG Endurance Championship, the HMRC Senior TAG Endurance Championship and the National Endurance Championship.
The Junior class is for new comers to the sport, the idea is to get track day riders and novices to step up to racing. The Juniors are on track first for timed practice at 0930. The Seniors and National riders take to the track at 1005 for timed practice, with racing kicking off at 1135 and each race running for three hours.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for £10 or £12 on the gate, to book simply click on www.mallorypark.co.uk or call 01455 842 931. Children under 16 go free, parking and paddock access are also free.
Mallory Park is situated in the heart of the midlands in Leicestershire just off the A47 between Leicester and Hinckley and easily accessible from the M1, M69 or M6. For further directions, please visit www.mallorypark.co.uk.
