Aston Martins ready to rumble at Mallory Park
The Friendly circuit, Mallory Park will be the venue on Sunday 27th April for a round of the Aston Martin Owners Club race series.
On track action will commence at 0930 with practice and the racing will start in earnest at 1300. The eight race programme will cover Historic and Classic Aston’s but they won’t be the only well known marquee on track. The AMOC Intermarque championship caters for Porsches, Ferraris, Austin Healys, Jaguars and American V8 beasts.
If these cars aren’t to your taste then the Austin Healey Club Championship provides action from Sprites, Frogeyes and 3000s in road going and modified classes. There will also be MG sports cars and saloons on track in a separate class.
For all out speed the race of the day will be the AMOC Super GT Series for modified cars on slick tyres with no engine or aerodynamic restrictions. However the grand finale will be the half hour invitation endurance race which is sure to get the heart racing.
Tickets are £14 on the day, £12 in advance and are available at the circuit by calling 01455 842931 or online from Tickets . Under 15s with an adult, paddock access and car parking are free.
