Superb line up for the Post TT Motorcycle races at Mallory Park
This Sunday, 15th June, the Post TT Motorcycle races will take place at Mallory Park, with numerous stars from the past taking to the Friendly Circuit on a selection of tantalising machines.
Ulsterman and former TT racer, Tommy Robb will be on hand along with Ron Chandler and others all displaying a great selection of exotic machines, including the following marques - Honda, Norton, Triumph, MV Agusta, Yamsel and Benelli.
The spectacle of the parade, which will take place during the lunch interval, will provide the chance to watch Tommy Robb on a Honda and Ron Chandler on his Triumph Trident or BSA Rocket as they put the bikes through their paces. There will be numerous other classic machines on display during the day and many of them will also get a chance to take a few laps of the great 1.35 mile Mallory track.
While the racing is primarily for more modern machines there are races for the Classics and Earlystocks plus rounds of the BSA Gold Star series to keep the retro feel to the event. The whole day’s action contains 18 race and 3 parades giving everyone lots to look at, and the main race of the day will be a round of the Buildbase Mallory Trophy.
Practice starts at 09:30 through to 11:00 with racing commencing at 11:15. Lunch is at 13:15 and during that time there will be parade laps with the stars and their bikes. The action kicks off again at 14:00 with a total of 18 races being run during the day.
