Mallory Park hosts British Sprint and Superkart Championship

If four wheeled action is your thing then you need to get to Mallory Park for Sunday 13^th April where the British Sprint and Kart drivers will be taking to the track.

The top sprint drivers will be thrilling the crowds with their super high speed antics as they prepare for the Top 12 Run Off. Race action will start at the exit of pit lane with the 4 litre cars completing one and a half laps with the finish line being at Edwina’s chicane.

Matt Oliver and his father Bill will be on track along with Terry Holmes and Graham Porrett. They will be competing against the clock as well as against each other to claim the maximum points haul.

This is the first time since 1986 that the Sprint championship has been at Mallory Park and the cars are guaranteed to be the fastest four wheeled vehicles to grace the Friendly circuit.

The Superkarts will add to the action with a packed grid for the F250 and F125 classes. This is the first round for the F250 Nationals and F125 Opens so the racing will be a good indication for how the rest of the season could pan out.

Practice starts at 10:00am followed by qualifying and an afternoon of racing. Admission for adults costs £12, OAP’s £10 and children under the age of 16 go free; paddock & parking access are also free. Tickets can be booked on line at or telephone 01455 842931 and select option 1.
