Mallory Park welcomes 2008 BSB Stars

The sixth round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship will roar into action at Mallory Park on the 27th-29th June bringing with it all the colour, flare and excitement of the best domestic championship in the world.

For race fans this is an ideal chance to get close to your racing heroes at the Friendly circuit. Extensive work has been carried out at Mallory Park to improve spectator facilities and viewing areas – it’s not known as the “Little circuit with the Big view” for nothing.

Mallory Park is offering fans superb discounts on tickets booked in advance either online or by telephone. Save £20 by booking your weekend ticket with paddock access in advance, or save £15 for a weekend ticket with no paddock access. Savings can also be made on practice and qualifying day tickets too.

Championship leader Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne brings the all new Airwaves Ducati 1098 to the Leicestershire based circuit for the first time. HM Plant Honda will also be there with their two new signings Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow who are currently second and fourth in the Championship respectively. Crutchlow is local to Mallory Park and will give fans plenty to cheer about if his recent form is anything to go by.

Rizla Suzuki will also be on hand to provide thrills with Tom Sykes and a touch of the exotic with two times Japanese Superbike Champion, Atsushi Watanabe. A full schedule of support races will also hit the track, and fans of smaller machinery will be treated to a British 125GP double header due to the cancellation of the 125 round at Donington Park because of the extremely high winds.

The staff at Mallory Park are all motorsport fans and will be doing their utmost to make your visit the best possible. Camping facilities are available at Mallory Park but if you want a touch of luxury there are plenty of local hotels and B&Bs which can accommodate you and your family.
