Peter Morgan Memorial Race Day Mallory Park
The Morgans are coming to town on Sunday 5th July and Mallory Park will resound to the engines of these beautiful British machines.
To kick start proceedings there is the Peter Morgan Trophy Power Torque Morgan Challenge which is sure to get pulses racing. That is followed by the non Championship Arthur Neal Trophy Power Torque Morgan Challenge.
There is a 40 minute two driver challenge followed by the Monoposto RCs hitting the track. These single seaters will produce close racing as they scythe past each other.
The RAFMSA which is the RAF’s main sports association is also going to be present at the Friendly circuit as it is hosting a race. The RAFMSA encourages four wheeled sport across the board and its participation at Mallory is welcome.
The Historic Modsports and Saloon cars are next on track and sure to thrill. The Modsports include cars such as Lotus Elans, Turners, Elvas, Jaguar, Aston Martins, MG, AC Cobras, TR and TVRs. They will be door to door through the twists and turns of Mallory Park.
To complete the day there will be an invitation Sports car verses Saloon car challenge. Every class on track is something special and worth seeing in action.
Practice starts at 09:30, with the Morgan Centenary parade at 12:00, and racing commencing at 13: 00.
