Virtual vehicles in the flesh at Mallory Park Rallycross
The final meeting of the eight round Mirror.co.uk Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship, which will take place at Mallory Park on the 18th October, has got two very special cars lined up for fans to take a closer look at.
They are Pat Doran’s Ford RS200 and Lawrence Gibson’s Metro 6R4 both of which feature in the newly released new 'Colin McRae Dirt 2' video game from Codemasters.
Rallycross is one of the motorsport disciplines featured and Doran’s RS200 was chosen as he has raced and won championships with it over the past 20 years.
Current British Rallycross Champion Lawrence Gibson’s colourful and famous P&O Irish Sea supported Metro 6R4 is also featured.
Both drivers were thrilled to have their vehicles immortalised in a video game as well as the exposure world wide that it will provide for their team sponsors. The game is set to be a massive hit with Motorsport fans around the world.
Colin McRae Dirt 2 is currently available for X-box 360, PS3, and PC from stores such as HMV, Game, Gamestation, Argos and other major retailers worldwide.
Too see both these cars in the flesh then come along to the Mallory Park on the 18th October for the final round of the Mirror.co.uk Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship. As side from these two famous cars there will be plenty of high speed action to entertain any self confessed petrol head.
